Panda Bamboo Wood: Indoor Strand Woven Flooring
Panda Bamboo Wood strand woven bamboo flooring is made by compressing "strands" of the bamboo strips under intense pressure, while using a heat-sensitive low-VOC adhesive. Bamboo poles are split, shredded into individual strands, and fused under a cold press of 2,500 tons of pressure. After the curing process, the block is sliced into flooring with T+G system and coatings applied.
To condition Panda Bamboo Wood strand woven bamboo, the bamboo is soaked in Boric acid. We place the cut bamboo in containers of boric acid, allowing live cells to soak up the boric acid and make the entire bamboo pest-proof. Once the boric acid has permeated the cells, they are dried. After complete drying, the entire pole is crushed, and the fibers are compressed with adhesive.
